Thousand of Tampains enjoy our community parks and recreation centers ever year, as well as the activities and programs designed to serve their interests. In response to the growing desire for more beautiful parks and additional programs, the charitable nonprofit Friends of Tampa recreation was established.
Through memberships, tax-deductible donations, a funraising golf tournament, hockey game and other events, the Friends of Tampa Recreation has supported the City of Tampa with Roving Arts & Crafts, purchased mini vans, sponsored co-ed sports leagues with equipment, sponsored community special events and a host of other programming and individual park needs.
The Friends of Tampa Recreation invite you to become a member, as well as an active participant in this growing organization. If you are interested mail your membership in today. Every dollar goes into the City of Tampa's Parks and Recreation Department.
